Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This record group contains audiovisual materials created by or for the Japanese American Service Committee. It includes still images (photographic prints, negatives, and slides), moving images (motion picture film and video formats), and sound recordings in a variety of audio formats.

These materials document JASC's programs, events, services, staff activities, and buildings/facilities. They also reflect the organization's public relations efforts and community partnerships. In most cases these materials were created by JASC staff or volunteers in the course of their work. There are also materials created by external individuals or organizations, which may or may not be clearly identified as such.

This record group is not fully processed and a complete inventory is not yet available. The finding aid will be revised when more detailed descriptive information becomes available.

Some of the materials in this record group have been digitized. Where available, digital images are linked to their corresponding folders and can be accessed directly from the finding aid.
