Scope and Contents
Collection contains personal correspondence, notebooks, high school yearbooks, drawings (pencil, watercolor, and oil), a painting, bird sculptures, artifacts, newspaper clippings, Japanese publications and documents related to immigration (1923) and internment (1942-1945). Highlights of this collection include Tamura Hotel (San Francisco) resident and service ledgers dating from 1918 to 1936, Topaz High School yearbooks, and drawings of Topaz Relocation Camp by Shizue Tamura Okubo.
