From the Collection:

Collection contains three, hand-carved and painted bird pins that were crafted in Poston Relocation Center. The collection also contains a handcrafted and stained wooden bow and heart pin, an agate heart pendant and a silver ring with an opaque, grey stone.

Body of bird made of carved and painted wood; legs appear to be made of wire covered with shellacked thread; metal safety pin is attached to the back; approximately 3” x 2”; green-black back, yellow breast and tail edge, and left facing; red highlight on head; finely detailed; small label enclosed with pin reads “B20 Sm. Bird” and has purple thread attached
