Scope and Contents
7.25" x 5.5" x .75"; According to the accession file, Yoko Nakagawa's in-laws were interned at the Gila River Relocation Center in Arizona during WWII. During their internment, they acquired this handcrafted wooden plaque. Nakagawa believes that the plaque may have been crafted by Torakichi "Togaku" Sugiyama.
