Biographical / Historical

Jenna Jacobson was an eighth grade student when she decided to write a history paper on Iva Toguri, a woman referred to as “Tokyo Rose” for her purported wartime activities. Iva was convicted of treason, based on false testimony, and pardoned in 1977 by President Gerald Ford. Jacobson submitted her paper to the Chicago Metro History Fair and won a monetary award for her effort. No accession information on file.
