Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains a variety of materials that Tohoru Miyashita acquired throughout his lifetime. Miyashita kept brochures, postcards, and matchbooks from his travels. He also collected reports and newsletters from the various Japanese organizations in Chicago, Illinois, which include Heiwa Terrace, the Japanese American Citizens League and the Japanese American Service Committee.
